Ingredients
Scale
3 cups frozen mango chunks
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
Place the frozen mango chunks, frozen pineapple chunks, and lime juice into a high-speed blender or food processor.
Process the fruit mixture, stopping frequently to scrape down the sides.
Continue blending until the mixture is smooth and resembles soft-serve ice cream. If the mixture is too thick, add one teaspoon of water at a time until it blends smoothly.
Serve immediately for a soft texture, or transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for 1 to 2 hours for a firmer sorbet texture.
Scoop and serve cold.
Notes
Use very ripe fruit before freezing for the best natural sweetness.
If you do not have a high-speed blender, let the frozen fruit thaw for 5 to 10 minutes before blending.
For a slightly sweeter result, add 1 teaspoon of maple syrup before blending.
