Ingredients
Scale
2 ripe avocados
1 ripe mango, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1-2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
1 lime, juiced
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pinch of chili powder (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions
Mash the avocados in a medium bowl with a fork.
Add the diced mango, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeños to the bowl.
Pour in the lime juice and sprinkle with salt.
Gently stir everything together until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Add chili powder if you desire more spice.
Serve immediately with your favorite tortilla chips or as a topping.
Notes
For a milder guacamole, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeño.
If you don’t have fresh mango, you can use frozen mango chunks that have been thawed.
This guacamole is best served fresh, but can be covered tightly and refrigerated for a few hours. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to prevent browning.
