- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup mini pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon chopped green bell pepper (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion (optional)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil or cooking spray
- Lay one tortilla flat. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over half of the tortilla.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and any optional vegetables over the sauce.
- Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
- Heat a lightly oiled skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Carefully place the quesadilla in the hot skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted and gooey.
- Remove from skillet, let it cool slightly, then slice into wedges.
Notes
- Feel free to add other favorite pizza toppings like mushrooms or olives.
- Adjust the amount of sauce and cheese to your preference.
- Cook over medium-low heat if you want the cheese to melt thoroughly before the tortilla gets too crispy.
