Follow these steps to cook tender, juicy steak bites coated in rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes completely dry with paper towels. Season evenly with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Work in batches if necessary.
  4. Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side until a brown crust forms. Do not move the steak while searing to promote crust development.
  5. Remove the seared steak from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter to the same skillet.
  7. Once the butter melts, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
  8. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
  9. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss quickly to coat the steak evenly in the garlic butter sauce.
  10. Remove the skillet from the heat immediately. Stir in the fresh parsley.
  11. Serve the steak bites right away.

Notes

  • For maximum juiciness, use a high-heat sear and avoid overcooking the steak past medium-rare.
  • Let the steak rest for 5 minutes after cutting before seasoning and cooking.
  • If you prefer an air fryer method, cook at 400°F for 6-8 minutes, tossing halfway, then toss with the prepared garlic butter sauce after cooking.
