You will love this simple, flavor-packed Baked Caesar Chicken recipe. Juicy chicken breasts are smothered in a creamy Parmesan coating and baked until golden. This is a perfect, low-effort dinner for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for crispness)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Give yourself a high-five for getting started!
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth. This creamy sauce is the key to juicy baked chicken breasts.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the creamy Caesar mixture evenly over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.
  4. In a small bowl, toss the breadcrumbs with the olive oil. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the sauced chicken breasts.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with a little extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. You did a great job!

Notes

  • For an even quicker weeknight meal, use store-bought Caesar dressing.
  • Serve this creamy Parmesan chicken over pasta or alongside roasted asparagus for a complete meal.
  • If your chicken breasts are very thick, you can pound them slightly to an even thickness for more consistent cooking time.
