Ingredients
Scale
1 pound fettuccine pasta
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta well.
In a large bowl, combine the drained pasta, cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture. Add a light sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are lightly browned.
Let the bake rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can use rotisserie chicken to save preparation time.
For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese instead of pre-shredded.
If the top browns too quickly during baking, loosely cover the dish with aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes.
