Make soft inside, crispy outside gnocchi quickly in your air fryer with a simple garlic parmesan coating. This recipe is ready fast for a snack or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 ounce) package shelf-stable potato gnocchi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the uncooked gnocchi in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the gnocchi. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt over the gnocchi. Toss again to distribute the spices.
  4. Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time. The gnocchi should look golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the cooked gnocchi from the air fryer and immediately transfer them to a bowl.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot gnocchi and toss quickly until the cheese melts slightly onto the pieces.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure the gnocchi are dry before adding oil.
  • If you prefer a softer coating, toss with the Parmesan cheese immediately after removing them from the air fryer.
  • Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
