Enjoy crispy, healthy fish tacos made easily in your air fryer. This recipe is perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia), cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, avocado slices, lime wedges, your favorite salsa or hot sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the fish pieces with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Place the seasoned fish in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
  4. While the fish is cooking, warm the tortillas according to package directions (you can also warm them briefly in the air fryer or a dry skillet).
  5. Assemble your tacos by filling the warm tortillas with the air-fried fish and your desired toppings.
  6. Serve immediately with lime wedges and your favorite salsa.

Notes

  • For extra crispy fish, you can lightly dust the seasoned fish pieces with a little cornstarch before air frying.
  • Feel free to adjust the spices to your preference. A pinch of paprika can add a nice color and flavor.
  • Experiment with different types of white fish based on what’s available and your taste.
